Senator Abba Moro, the senator representing Benue South Senatorial District, in the red chamber has joined mourners on Friday at the burial of DPO, late Mr John Adikwu in Aukpa-Adoka, in Otukpo LGA.
Recall late Mr Adikwu, the DPO of Otukpo Police Station, was among those killed by armed men on the 20th of October during a robbery operation.
According to Senator Moro, said he was on ground to pay supreme sacrifice to late Adikwu for his service to the nation. Therefore, described the incident that led to the officer’s death as very painful and devastating. He sympathized with the entire family and prayed God to give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable lose.
While condoling the bereaved wife of the deceased, Senator Moro promised to assist the children with their school fees and support the family when the need arises.
The Senator and his entourage also visited the aged mother of the deceased in the hinterland.
