Following his recent appointment by president Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. George Akume has formally took over the mantle of leadership as SGF.
It was gathered that the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, on Wednesday, signed the handover documents in his office for smooth operation by his successor, Sen. (Dr) George Akume.
The event took place at the SGF office located at the Three Arms Zone in Abuja.
Recall president Bola Tinubu, had earlier administered the oath of office on Dr Akume as new SGF.
