“It’s a long season. It was difficult. It was our last chance to get something positive from the season.
“We were here last year, and we were not good enough to lift the trophy.
“This season, it is the other way around.
United took the lead as Garnacho pounced on a terrible error by Josko Gvardiol.
Mainoo’s second stunned the Premier League champions before the break with the Red Devils fully deserving to be in front.
