A Non Governmental Organisation, Esther Thelfid Foundation (ETF) has presented its Great Achievers Award to some worth Nigerians for their humanitarian services to mankind.
The event which took place at the organisation’s office in Abuja on Saturday began with a lecture delivered by the CEO of Esther Thelfid Foundation, Ms. Esther Aganekwu on theme; Nutrigenomics (Personalized Nutrition) Rewarding Sustainability in Business.
Earlier in her opening remarks and welcome address, she stated that the prompting of the award presentation was anchored on the motivation to encourage entrepreneurs and those are impacting the society positively to continue in their selfless services to humanity.
She added that the gesture was not to formulate policies but in driving the policy to achieve maximum benefits for the people.
The awardees from different spheres of human endeavours include; Maria Emmanuel, National Coordinator Beracah Economic Empowerment Foundation (BEEF), Sonnie Nwosu, President OliveBranchYouthFoundation (OBYF), Chief Isa Dafor, CEO Jinabis Resort and Benedict Samuel, ED Global Atlantic Empowerment Initiative. Others are Prince Joshua Ogbonna Jekwu, Etymologist and Author, Ogechi Obidiegwu, ED Blaze 69 Lounge.
Responding to the award, Comrade Sonnie Nwosu on behalf of the awardees expressed their profound gratitude to the organisers, acknowledging that it was a call to duty on the beneficiaries for more work to be done in the amelioration of the plight of the less privileged in the society.
He ended with a pledge, ” I will continue to do what I know best how to do, I love to help those in need as I see everyone as my person and persons burden my own”.
He enjoined Nigerians to be patriotic and good to one another, seeing everyone as a partner in progress.
