BBNaija All-Stars Housemate, Ilebaye, has responded to questions about her ‘Ghanaian accent’.
As old videos of Ilebaye acting in popular sitcom, Papa Ajasco and Company resurfaced online, fans who had accused Ilebaye of faking her accent were pleasantly surprised to hear the same accent in the video clip from years ago.
However, Ilebaye had clarified the source of her accent in a 2022 interview with media personality, Hero Daniels.
She said: “My English teacher was Ghanaian and I love Ghanaians.”
The 22-year-old self acclaimed “Gen Z baddie” has been nominated for possible eviction along with WhiteMoney (automatic nomination), KimOprah, Venita and Doyin.
