However, despite Tinubu’s appeal against the release of his result for vetting by his opponent, the court had gone ahead to rule in favour of the applicant, directing that the documents be released within 24 hours
Recall that Tinubu had submitted his result from the Chicago State University, CSU, to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to secure eligibility to participate in the election.
A critical look at the results indicated there was discrepancy in age, and Tinubu’s sex showed female on the result.
Revealed that Tinubu submitted 1854 to INEC, while the acclaimed result carries 1952 as his age which was contradictory.
