On this day 29th may ,2023 being Monday, a new president elect in person of Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been Sworn-In as the sixteenth president of the federal republic of Nigeria.
This occasion took place at the Eagle Square Abuja at 10:43 exactly when Tinubu formally signed and took oath of office and pledge loyalty to serve the federal republic of Nigeria.
The vice president, Kashim Shettima equally performed the ceremony.
Former president Muhammad Buhari presented a new national colours to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to mark a new beginning of his administration with the Nigeria army seen dropping the old flag and subsequent installation of new one.
Buhari left the eagle square shortly after presenting the new national colours to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
