A Badagry Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos, presided over by Fadahunsi Adefioye, has ordered that a 41yrs-old Ibrahim Lemo be remanded in Awhajigoh Correctional Centre, for grabbing the breast of a woman.
It was gathered that Lemo was arraigned for allegedly beating up the plaintiff, Zainab Babalola, when she warned him not to grab her breast again.
The issue bordered on assault, the defendant pleaded guilty.
According to the FIR ,the prosecutor, ASP. Clément Okuoimose, told the court that the defendant committed the offences on April 6 at about 2.30 p.m. at Badagry Roundabout shopping complex, Badagry, Lagos.
Okuoimose said Lemo without lawful excuse pressed the breast of the complainant, Zainab Babalola.
Stressing that the defendant also hit the complainant on her left eye and caused her harm after she asked him not to touch her again.
The offences contravened Sections 134 and 170 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The Chief Magistrate adjourned the case until April 18 for judgment.
