Nollywood celebrated actor, Emeka Ike , will he honoured for his pacesetting role and impact in the present booming Nigerian movie industry, popularly known as Nollywood, by the Creative Industry Group, CIG, in their sought after CIG industry Nite Celebration.
According to a press statement released by CIG, signed by her National President, Felix Duke, the chief of event, it stated that the event will be historic. ” It is going to be a great one this month at “The CIG Industry Night”, as we celebrate Nigeria Nollywood Industry Giant Legend, Emeka Ike”, the statement said.
The statement further informed that the much awaited event comes up on the 28th of April, 2023. At 2B Abba Johnson Crescent, Boet Estate, ABC bus stop, Adeniyi Jones Ikeja Lagos.
On vision behind the event, CIG boss said, “CIG believes in Celebrating Those That have Impacted our lives While They are still with us and not when they are gone. “At CIG, we are bridging the gap”, he further explained.
Emeka Ike, an iconic Nigerian actor, who is 56 years old, was born March 22, 1967, in Mbano, in Imo State. He rose to stardom after starring in the early romantic and action Nollywood movies. since then he became a force to reckon with globally in Nollywood till the present day. He has graced the screen in countless blockbuster Nollywood movies.
He has featured in grand successful movies such as “Dearly Affair”, “Queen Sheba” “Passion and Pain”, Two Become One, “Divided Kingdom”, Not Man Enough, and Foreign Affairs, among so many others.
