The 2023 edition of the annual Delta State Headmasters Cup football competition starts today in Asaba.
The catch them young tournament sponsored by Zenith Bank Plc is organised for primary school pupils in Delta State.
Group managing director of Zenith Bank, Ebenezer Onyeagwu said the organisation was always committed to youth development.
“The Delta State Headmasters’ Cup is one of the events we deliberately designed to develop talents from the grassroots. We want to give them the opportunity to attain their potential with their talents,” Onyeagwu said.
Commissioner for Primary Education in Delta State, Chief Sunday Onoriode, said on Wednesday that all arrangements have been made to stage a good tournament.
